Naga Devata Mantras

Nag devta and Nag devi mantras invoke serpent deities like Ananta, Vasuki, and Manasa Devi for protection, dosha nivaran, and prosperity, rooted in Puranic and tantric traditions discussed earlier. These complement sarpa suktam and raksha mantras from Vedic sources like Taittiriya Aranyaka.

## Naga Devata Mantras
- **Nav Naga Stotram**: "Anantam Vasukim Shesham Padmanabham cha Kambalam, Shankhapalam Dhritarashtra Takshakam Kaliyam Tatha. Etani Nava Naamami Naganam cha Mahatmanam." Chant daily morning/evening for victory and sarpa dosha removal.
- **General Naga Beej**: "Om Naga Devathayai Namaha" – 108 times for protection from negative energies and karmic debts.
- **Ashtottara Shatanamavali Excerpt**: "Om Anantaya Namah, Om Adisheshaya Namah, Om Vasukaye Namah..." – Recite 108 names during Naga Panchami.

## Devi Mantras (Manasa/Naga Mata)
- **Manasa Devi Moola Mantra**: "Om Hreem Kleem Aim Namo Bhagwati Manasyei Namah" – For healing, fertility, and fear removal; 1 mala daily with milk offering.
- **Manasa Devi Stotram Phala**: From Mahendra Krita text, invokes her as nagabhaya nivarana; used in Bengal tantra for ancestral curses.

## Usage Guidelines
Chant facing north with silver coin or milk in a copper vessel on Tuesdays/Saturdays. Combine with Sarpa Suktam for full Naga puja, avoiding harm to snakes per ahimsa.
Kulika: ॐ कुलिकाय नमः (Om Kulikaya Namah) – Ninth in Navnaga list
Dhritarashtra: ॐ धृतराष्ट्राय नमः (Om Dhritrashtraya Namah)
Kalia: ॐ कालियाय नमः (Om Kaliyaya Namah) – Yamuna conqueror
Gayatri Variant (Vasuki): ॐ नागदेवाय विद्महे पद्महस्ताय धीमहि। तन्नो वासुकिः प्रचोदयात्॥
Chant 108 times facing north with milk offerings; use rudraksha mala for siddhi, as per your tantric sadhana context.
Shesha (Ananta), the thousand-headed king of Nagas and Vishnu's cosmic couch, has dedicated mantras invoking his infinite stability, patience, and protective energy from Puranic and tantric sources like Bhagavata Purana. These mantras grant fortitude, dosha nivaran, and mental strength when chanted with devotion.

## Primary Mantras

|-------------|-----------------|---------|
| **ॐ अनन्ताय नमः** | Om Anantaya Namah | Salutations to the Endless One; basic beeja for daily protection and sarpa dosha removal.|
| **यस्यैक-शिरसे पृथिवी गृहीता सिद्धार्थवत् ध्रुव एव सहस्र-मूर्ध्नः अनन्त-मूर्तेः फणि-नायकस्य शेषाय नागाय नमोऽस्तु तस्मै** | Yasyaika-sirse prthivi grhita siddharthavad dhruva eva sahasra-murdhnah ananta-murteh phani-nayakasya seshaya nagaya namo'stu tasmai | I bow to Shesha Naga, leader of hooded serpents with infinite forms, who holds Earth like a mustard seed on one of his thousand heads. Meaning: We know Ananta Naga King with lotus hand; meditate on him; may Shesha inspire us. Use for Kala Sarpa Dosha during Naga Panchami.

Chant 108 times facing north with milk offering on rudraksha mala, as per prior Naga sadhana guidelines.
How to chant Ananta Shesha bija mantras correctly

Chanting Ananta Shesha bija mantras like "Om Anantaya Namah" or "Om Hreem Anantaya Namah" requires purity, focus, and tantric discipline for siddhi, drawing from Naga worship traditions. Proper technique ensures vibrational alignment with Shesha's infinite stability energy.

## Preparation
Purify with a bath, wear white/silver clothes, and sit facing north in a clean space on Tuesday evenings or Naga Panchami. Use a rudraksha or sphatik mala (108 beads), light ghee lamp with nagakesar incense, and offer milk in a copper vessel to a Shesha image or silver coin. Maintain vegetarian diet and brahmacharya during sadhana.

## Chanting Technique
- **Posture**: Padmasana or sukhasana with straight spine; visualize Shesha's coils supporting Vishnu at muladhara chakra.
- **Pronunciation**: "Om" as A-U-M with nasal hum (anusvara 'ng'); "Anantaya" – A-nan-ta-ya (long 'a', soft 'n' from throat); "Namah" as na-mah (dental 'n', aspirated 'h'). Chant slowly, feeling vibration rise from navel to sahasrara.
- **Repetitions**: 1-11 malas daily for 40 days; inhale deeply, chant on exhale while rotating mala with right thumb-middle finger (avoid index).
- **Visualization**: Imagine golden thousand-hooded Shesha encircling you protectively; end with "Phat" for sealing.

## Advanced Guidelines
For bija potency, add nyasa: touch forehead (Om), heart (Anantaya), navel (Namah) before starting. Post-chanting, offer tarpan with water mantra: "Om Anantanagarajaya tarpayami." Avoid during Rahu kaal; test siddhi ethically.
Navnaga (Nav Nag) mantras primarily refer to the Navnaga Stotram, a powerful Puranic hymn invoking the nine principal Naga devatas for protection from sarpa dosha, kala sarpa dosha, and enemies. Recited daily, especially mornings and Naga Panchami, it ensures victory and removes poison fears.
The nine Nagas named in the Navnag Stotra (Navnaga Stotram) are the principal serpent deities invoked for protection and dosha nivaran. They appear in the core shloka: "Anantam Vasukim Shesham Padmanabham cha Kambalam, Shankhapalam Dhritarashtram Takshakam Kaliyam Tatha."
